Xiaofei Bai

Xiaofei Bai Xiaofei Bai is a Director in Biostatistics at Moderna. She received her PhD in statistics from North Carolina State University, and since then worked as a clinical biostatistician in various therapeutic areas including Immunology, Cardio-Metabolism, Oncology (solid tumor and hematology) and Vaccine development. Her research interests include clinical trial design, adaptive clinical trial, dose finding and causal inference. She currently serves as a co-chair of the DahShu Innovative Design Scientific Working Group (IDSWG) KOL lecture series.


Dooti Roy

Dooti Roy As a Director of Global Biostatistics and Data Sciences at Boehringer Ingelheim, Dooti along with her leadership team, leads a global, cross-functional initiative to build capabilities related to Data Analysis and Visualization to enable the people and the organization, to be future ready. Currently, her team is leading the organizational transformation of SAS to R and Opensource. In her primary role as the U.S. Head of Clinical Data Science, she is a passionate people developer who loves mentoring, and nurturing world-class, talents to build and shape future scientific and technical experts and leaders to deliver value and partnership to the larger organization and beyond. As a scientist and a statistician, Dooti is deeply committed to pioneering and promoting data-driven innovations and fit-for-purpose equitable solutions to accelerate quality drug development. For the past decade, she has successfully created and led numerous cross-functional collaborations to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality results. These include internal cross-functional working groups such as placebo response, non-adherence, the potential of digital biomarkers, clinical trial diversity and reuse of historical and observational data across different stages of drug development. She has an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of Connecticut and serve in various capacities in several cross-industry working groups and associations.
