Holding an M.S. in Applied Statistics, Jia specializes in SAS macros, statistical analysis, regulatory submissions, and ADaM data standards across various oncology therapeutic areas. In addition to her leadership role in numerous projects, Jia has spearheaded company standard and process optimization initiatives, as well as talent development, to ensure seamless global collaboration and drive industry standards. Passionate about advancing the statistical programming community, she actively volunteers in PharmaSUG and contributes to professional development within the field.


Speaker: Michael Klingler, Regeneron

Neha Patel Michael Klingler is currently a Senior Director of Statistical Programming at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the Internal Medicine and Genetics Medicines programming teams. Prior to Regeneron, he was Head of Statistical Programming at a small biotech and has experience in academic research as a Biostatistician. In his career, he has contributed to regulatory submissions across therapeutic areas such as ophthalmology, neurology, oncology, cardiovascular disease, immunology, and infectious disease. In addition to project work, Michael enjoys mentoring programmers and collaborating cross-functionally to build efficient processes.

Renowned for her expertise in SAS programming, Neha has played a pivotal role as a lead programmer in facilitating numerous successful regulatory submissions. Her proficiency extends to areas such as SAS macro development and process enhancement, contributing significantly to operational efficiency and data integrity. With a focus on regulatory compliance and data standards, she continues to drive excellence in statistical programming, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and optimization of processes.


Speaker: Hong Wang, Boehringer Ingelheim

Hong Wang Hong has been a SAS programmer for 17 years in Boehringer Ingelheim, a leading pharmaceutical company. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Master degree in Statistics from the university of Connecticut. Throughout her extensive career at Boehringer Ingelheim, Hong has demonstrated her expertise in SAS programming, playing a pivotal role in the analysis of clinical data, drug development processes and regulatory submissions. Beyond her technical proficiency, Hong is passionate about mentoring junior data scientists, sharing her knowledge and experiences to foster growth within the field. In her free time, she enjoys different outdoor activities—camping, hiking, backpacking etc. She has been visiting over 30 national parks in US
